Military Equipment Use Policy Feedback

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is requesting community feedback on our Military Equipment Use Policy. Download the Current Working Draft of this new policy here. The policy is required by California Assembly Bill 481 and is codified at Government Code Sections 7070-7075. These Code Sections require law enforcement agencies to obtain approval from their governing body (The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors) for the use and acquisition of “military equipment”.  We look forward to the community’s input on this Military Equipment Use Policy.
